Cultural “He aha te mea nui o te Ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata” What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people.” Maori Proverb Waikowhai Intermediate recognises the many different ethnic groups that make up our local community. Our Cultural Group is a reflection of these communities which include, Maori (Kapa Haka), Pasifika and Asian. We are proud to celebrate the unique features of our school communities through music, dance and drama. These are showcased through school and local festival performances. |
