Enrolment Process 

Waikowhai Intermediate now offers electronic enrolments.  To access the electronic enrolment form:

  • Click on the link below - highlighted in red

  • Fill in the form

  • Submit

Enrolments for 2025 will open in Term 2

Once you have submitted your enrolment form, with all the relevant supporting documents, we will respond with an acknowledgement email.  If you need any assistance please feel free to contact the school office on 621 0460 or email  

For those unable to complete an electronic enrolment, you can still access a hard copy of the enrolment form by clicking on the red link above.  This can be scanned and emailed to  Alternatively, you can pop into the school office during school hours and collect or drop off a hard copy.

Supporting documentation needed are:

  • Eligibility criteria – this can be a New Zealand Birth Certificate, New Zealand Passport, Australian Passport, NZ Citizenship Certificate, Resident Visa or a Student Visa


  •  NZ born student – Birth Certificate or NZ passport

  • NZ Citizen – New Zealand Passport or Citizenship Certificate

  • Non NZ Citizen – Student Visa, Permanent Resident Visa or Australian Passport


  • Proof of Address – a utility bill/rental agreement, something that has your name and address on it.  In-zone applications only.


  • Immunisation Forms – if your child is immunised, please provide a copy of their records.
