Year 8 Activities
Our Year 8 students have 2 opportunities to learn outside of the classroom.
Term 1 - Surf Safety Week
Term 4 - Year 8 Activity Week (YEAW)
Year 8 Activity Week (YEAW) is an integral part of our students' experience at Waikowhai.
Our Surf Safety Week takes place at Muriwai, where the students are taught about water safety, and have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun activities. This day is led completely by trained lifeguards.
Our Year 8 Activity Week is full of activities included trips to Woodhill Tree Adventures/Mountain Biking, Wero - water rafting, Ice-skating, Mini Golf and Laser Strike.
