Learning through inquiry

At Waikowhai Intermediate, we try to dispel the common misunderstanding around ‘inquiry’ as a subject or a noun, and instead encourage our students to understand that it is a process:  it is a doing word.  We learn through inquiring, through sparking our wonderment, and by asking questions.  It is a skill that is not only necessary for success in the classroom, but is also an essential life skill.
