Waikōwhai Intermediate School

Netball is a popular sport for girls and boys at Waikowhai. We have five or six girls teams that participate in a weekly competition and this is run with the amazing help of parents and other volunteers to fill the roles of coach, manager and umpire for each team. The playing season runs from May through the end of August, but trials start in Term 1. The fee of approximately $60 includes a playing uniform, centre fees and a small amount towards volunteer gifts. Girls and boys netball are Central Zone sports, which are held in Term 3.
