Waikōwhai Intermediate is well-served by several bus services:

1. Auckland Transport:

• 27W & 27H – Three Kings Loop

• 68 – Onehunga to New Lynn via Blockhouse Bay

• 25L – Dominion Rd to Lynfield

• 511 – School bus servicing Lynfield area

• 568 – School bus servicing to Onehunga

2. From Mangere Bridge: Kiwi Coach Charters Ltd operates a daily service between Mangere Bridge and Waikōwhai Intermediate School.
