Mindfulness

Mindfulness is simply about being in the moment, observing our thoughts, 

our aurongo or emotions and the world around us.

 

What we do every day matters more than what we do once in a while. While brief mindful moments may

seem insignificant, over time their impact really adds up.”

Mindful moments are woven throughout the curriculum at Waikōwhai Intermediate. Students are invited to

a daily mindfulness practice in the library during Break 2, facilitated by our school counsellor.
